Thorn in my Kraken
On Tuesday, May 18th the school held GEM Night. Emma and Bennett were both invited to read aloud their original stories. Emma's was titled "Thorn in My Foot" about the time a Mesquite thorn went through her foot while running in her flip flops (OUCH!). Bennett's was a story about a battle between a Minotaur and a Kraken with a lot of surprise twists and turns. They both are such great writers and they did a great job!!

I am impressed. Their stories sound great. That is awesome that they could stand in front of everyone and share their stories!
