We're back home after a wonderful 5 days in Arkansas. It was bittersweet to think it will be our last visit -- bitter because we have loved our time with Mom and Dad in the mission home -- what a valiant example they are to all of us -- and sweet because we'll get to see LOTS more of them in just 6 months! Woo Hoo!
Yesterday I didn't feel ready to come back to "real life," but I have felt uplifted today and am ready to go! I'm thankful for new beginnings, for the opportunity to progress and become who the Lord wants me to be, for inspired friends and family who touch my life and motivate me, for the Word of God that gives me strength and direction, for the hope that this year can be the "best year ever" regardless of external circumstances and events if I will invite the Lord and His Spirit into my life more fully.
May 2011 be the BEST YEAR EVER for all of us!

That's a great picture! I'm so glad you had a nice trip! I can't wait until July!!!
How fun that you got to see your parents in the Mission Field---what a great example & memory for your kids! And love the Tucson snow pics! The joy on everyone's face is evident! Hope you enjoyed the holidays. Think of you often as my house smells of Pumpkin Roll and Maple Butter---yum! :)
Sounds like a great visit!
Hope your New Year is everything you want it to be...
